About Aspen Solutions Aspen Solutions is a Scotland-based IT managed service provider supporting businesses across a range of sectors, with a strong hospitality specialism.

We have delivered infrastructure, cloud, security and connectivity services since 1998 through a structured, standards-driven model.

We are building out our project capability so that work we currently outsource is designed and delivered in house.

The Role The Project Consultant is our senior client-facing technical consultant.

You sit with the client, understand what the business is trying to do, and turn that into a designed, priced project that we can actually deliver.

You then stay close to the work so what lands matches what was sold.

This is a role for someone who has been on the tools and has moved into consultancy without losing the technical depth.

You will be credible in front of a business owner and equally credible in a technical design conversation with our engineers.

Where a project needs senior technical input, you will roll your sleeves up rather than hand it on.

Our engineers carry out regular technology alignment audits across our managed services client base.

You brief and debrief them, and you own what happens to the findings, turning them into proposals and a forward technology view for each client.

There is a defined progression path here.

As our Customer Success framework matures you will carry the virtual CIO function for named clients, with a route into a v CIO seat as the client portfolios and quarterly business review cadence come online.

The detailed technical scoping and hands-on delivery sits with our Project Engineers.

You own the client conversation, the design, the proposal and the oversight.
