About BPK

BPK is a well‑established and respected property business with a strong presence across Cumbria. With a heritage built on trusted relationships, local expertise and high standards of service, the firm has developed a reputation for delivering results across residential sales, lettings and professional services.

Role Overview

BPK is now seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Estate Agency Manager to lead and develop our residential sales function. This is a significant opportunity to take charge of a key part of the business, driving performance, shaping strategy and building a high‑performing team within a competitive and fast‑moving market. BPK is entering an important phase of development, with a clear focus on growth, operational excellence and strengthening its market position across the region. This role will play a central part in that journey, providing leadership across the estate agency team while contributing to the wider direction of the business. Working closely with the Director, you will help to define and deliver a strategy that increases market share, enhances client experience and drives long‑term value.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership and commercial capability, with responsibility for sales performance, team development and day‑to‑day operations. You will ensure the business is well positioned in the local market, with a consistent focus on generating new instructions, progressing sales effectively and delivering a high‑quality service to clients. Alongside this, you will oversee compliance, financial performance and operational processes, ensuring the agency operates efficiently and professionally at all times. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery. You will be expected to lead from the front—supporting the team in winning business, managing key relationships and maintaining momentum across the sales pipeline—while also identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

We are looking for a confident and credible property professional with a strong track record in estate agency. You will have experience of leading teams, driving performance and operating in a target‑driven environment. Equally important is your ability to build relationships, influence outcomes and bring clarity and direction to a team.
