As Chief Executive, you will be the driving force behind Live Borders’ strategic vision and delivery, leading a talented senior leadership team to deliver our commitment to help the people who visit, live or work in the Borders to be Healthier, Happier, and Stronger. You will apply your experience of implementing transformational change and stimulating growth to steer Live Borders towards a sustainable future in partnership with the Scottish Borders Council, our sole member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide strategic direction in relation to the development and delivery of Live Borders.
- Ensure that Live Borders is a sustainable, fit for purpose organisation to deliver against outcomes.
- Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders including Elected Members and senior Council officers at Scottish Borders Council.
- Motivate and inspire the leadership team, ensuring the development of compliant service strategies which drive the business forward.
About You:
We are looking for a leader with exceptional strategic, interpersonal and communication skills, who can demonstrate a burning passion and strong commitment to lead Live Borders to a sustainable future. In this role you’ll bring:
- Proven practice in strategic leadership within a large, complex organisation.
- Experience of having implemented transformational change.
- A strong focus on financial sustainability.
- Exceptional political awareness and the ability to effectively navigate a multi-stakeholder environment.
