Aspen Medical is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Registered Nurses for potential future deployed medical facility opportunities in Europe. These opportunities may suit nurses with experience in emergency care, primary care, urgent care, military healthcare, occupational health, humanitarian response, remote-site healthcare or field medical environments. At this stage, Aspen Medical is conducting early market engagement and talent pooling only. These are not confirmed vacancies, and no offer of employment or deployment is implied. Any future role will be subject to client award, contract execution, operational requirements, credentialing, medical fitness, security screening, site access approval and final mobilisation approval.

Potential Responsibilities

  • Daily clinic activity, outpatient care and urgent presentations.
  • Nursing assessment, treatment support and patient monitoring.
  • Emergency care, ALS support and trauma stabilisation within scope of practice.
  • Medication administration and medicines management under authorised protocols.
  • Infection prevention and control processes.
  • Point-of-care testing, ECGs, vital signs, urinalysis and screening support.
  • Observation or short-term patient holding where authorised.
  • Emergency equipment, crash cart and consumable readiness.
  • Clinical documentation and patient confidentiality.
  • Health promotion, patient education and disease prevention.
  • Emergency drills, mass casualty preparedness and quality assurance activities.

Essential Requirements

  • Current unrestricted nursing registration in an EU country, Norway or the UK.
  • Recent experience in emergency care, primary care, urgent care, occupational health, military healthcare, remote-site healthcare or a comparable setting.
  • Current BLS certification; ALS/ACLS or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong English language capability for clinical documentation and handover.
  • Ability to work in a deployed, multinational and operationally controlled environment.
  • Ability to complete credentialing, background checks, medical fitness screening, security requirements and site access procedures.

Desirable Experience

  • Military nursing experience is desirable, along with emergency department, ambulance, humanitarian, offshore, remote-site, field hospital or expeditionary healthcare experience.
  • Infection prevention, vaccination, cold-chain, occupational health, medical screening or point-of-care testing experience would be advantageous.

Eligibility

Due to anticipated operational and client requirements, applicants must be nationals of, or otherwise eligible for deployment from, EU countries, Norway or the United Kingdom.
