Aspen Medical is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Physicians / Medical Officers for potential future deployed medical facility opportunities in Europe. These opportunities may suit doctors with experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, occupational health, military medicine, humanitarian response, remote-site medicine or expeditionary healthcare.

Any future role will be subject to client award, contract execution, operational requirements, credentialing, medical fitness, security screening, site access approval and final mobilisation approval.

Potential Responsibilities
  • Physician-led primary healthcare and daily outpatient presentations.
  • Assessment and management of acute illness, minor injuries, chronic disease presentations and musculoskeletal complaints.
  • Urgent care, emergency stabilisation and advanced life support response within scope of practice.
  • Triage and preparation of patients for onward referral or evacuation.
  • Limited medical screening activity within agreed protocols.
  • Return-to-duty advice within authorised scope.
  • Health promotion, disease prevention and patient education.
  • Clinical documentation, medical confidentiality and incident reporting.
  • Clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and safe medicines management.
Essential Requirements
  • Medical degree and current unrestricted medical licence/registration in an EU country, Norway or the UK.
  • Recent experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, occupational health, military medicine, remote-site medicine or comparable practice.
  • Current ALS/ACLS or equivalent emergency life support certification.
  • Strong English language capability for clinical documentation, handover and operational coordination.
  • Ability to work in a deployed, multinational and operationally controlled environment.
  • Ability to complete credentialing, background checks, medical fitness screening, security requirements and site access procedures.
Desirable Experience
  • Military medical officer experience is desirable, along with defence contractor, NATO, EU, UN, humanitarian, offshore, remote-site or expeditionary healthcare experience.
  • Trauma qualifications such as ATLS, ETC, PHTLS, ITLS or equivalent would be advantageous.
Eligibility

Due to anticipated operational and client requirements, applicants must be nationals of, or otherwise eligible for deployment from, EU countries, Norway or the United Kingdom.
