Aspen Medical is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Emergency Medical Technicians for potential future deployed medical facility and ambulance-support opportunities in Europe. These opportunities may suit EMTs with experience in ambulance operations, emergency response, military medical support, field medical environments, remote-site response or humanitarian healthcare operations.

Potential Responsibilities

  • Basic life support and first-response care within scope of practice.
  • Ambulance and emergency response operations.
  • Assistance to paramedics, nurses and physicians during emergency care.
  • Patient movement, stretcher handling and casualty loading.
  • Trauma bag, oxygen, suction, monitoring and emergency equipment readiness.
  • Clinic support, vital signs, patient flow and basic observations.
  • Mass casualty set-up, triage support and casualty tracking.
  • Infection prevention, cleaning and consumable stock checks.
  • Emergency response documentation and handover records.
  • Participation in site induction, safety briefings, drills and readiness training.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised EMT qualification from an EU country, Norway or the UK.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Recent ambulance, emergency response, military medical, remote-site or field medical experience.
  • Strong English language capability for emergency communication and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a deployed, multinational and operationally controlled environment.
  • Ability to complete credentialing, background checks, medical fitness screening, security requirements and site access procedures.

Desirable Experience

  • Military medic, combat medic or emergency responder experience is desirable.
  • TCCC, TECC, PHTLS, ITLS or equivalent trauma training would be advantageous.
  • Experience in field hospitals, training-area medical support, remote medical facilities, ambulance operations, MASCAL response or casualty movement.

Eligibility

Due to anticipated operational and client requirements, applicants must be nationals of, or otherwise eligible for deployment from, EU countries, Norway or the United Kingdom.
