What you\’ll do
As a Senior Claims Adjuster, you will play a central role in managing the global excess casualty account. Your day-to-day activities will involve evaluating complex cases, collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners, producing insightful reports for senior leaders, and ensuring all processes adhere strictly to regulatory requirements. You will be instrumental in identifying areas for process enhancement through analytics-driven insights while also acting as a trusted referral point for your colleagues.
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of operational team plans ensuring alignment with wider business strategies and priorities.
- Manage a small team of 2, ensuring they handle notifications to the level of agreement and act as the point of referral.
- Partner with colleagues to perform data analysis work, providing valuable insights that drive performance improvement within the claims function.
- Investigate and resolve specialist claims issues professionally to deliver excellent service with minimal leakage.
- Proactively manage estimates and billings calculated by clients and brokers, resolving discrepancies promptly to maintain trust and accuracy.
- Pursue subrogation, contribution, and other recovery opportunities as appropriate to maximise recoveries for the business.
- Support the development of relationships with internal teams such as Underwriters as well as external customers including brokers and clients.
- Produce regular statistical and analytical claims information for Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, and Senior Management to enable effective monitoring.

- Proficient in using Electronic Claims File (ECF) system
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building positive relationships with colleagues across various levels of the organisation as well as external partners.
