Are you passionate about fragrance? We are seeking an engaging and passionate Full-time Fragrance Business Manager to work in our flagship London store – Selfridges Oxford Street. The Fragrance Business Manager will contribute to the overall success of the account through excellent product knowledge, teamwork, and delivering outstanding customer service. They will promote, enhance, and maintain the company's image and reputation among customers.
Key Responsibilities and Standards
- This is a senior store-based role, aligned with the turnover expectations and importance of a flagship store.
- The role encompasses full accountability for all brands under ABC represented in the store, ensuring each brand within the portfolio is targeted and achieves its goals in line with forecasted company expectations.
- In collaboration with the LSM, ensure that key events and activities are implemented according to the head office marketing calendar, and support this by securing additional in-store opportunities to promote each brand.
- Fully utilize all available tools such as personal shopping, VIP rooms, and exclusive shopping areas.
- Ensure that each brand owner visiting the store has a bespoke activity plan to promote the brand effectively in this key UK account.
- Maintain a strong commercial focus, with regular one-to-one meetings with team members to assess individual performance against targets and productivity goals.
- Use clear KPIs to drive improvements beyond company and store expectations.
- Present concise, accurate brand-by-brand analysis of the business to the LSM, including a clear plan of action and ideas to grow each brand.
- Motivate and inspire the team, fostering a positive attitude and a high-achieving environment.
- Be a problem solver, forward thinker, and high achiever with a hunger to succeed.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, adapting communication styles to achieve business goals.
Job Requirements
- Experience working as a Business Manager or significant experience in Account Management.
- Previous sales experience in a similar industry with sales targets.
- A passion for fragrance, beauty, and luxury brands.
- Prior industry experience is essential.
- Flexibility to work weekends and some late finishes.
- Management-level experience in a similar role.
