Junior Claims Handler | High-growth Insurance firm | Hybrid (Chelmsford office) | £27-30K + bonus The Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious, curious, and bright professional to join us on the ground floor of an exciting new chapter.
As an MGA, our claims volume is currently manageable but growing rapidly as we strategically shift toward writing more ground-up lead accounts (and less Excess of Loss and Facultative business).
To support this trajectory, we are building out our in-house claims function from scratch - and we want you to be a foundational part of that journey.
This is not a standard, static "cogs-in-a-machine" insurance role.
It is a long-term development opportunity designed for someone who wants to learn the claims and loss adjusting profession from the inside out, build a global network, and ultimately help shape and lead our claims operations.
What You Will Do Initially Because our current binding authorities do not grant us direct claims settlement authority, your starting focus will be operational excellence, communication, and administration.
You will be the engine keeping our claims process moving smoothly by: Coordinating
Stakeholders: Acting as the primary liaison between Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), capacity providers, brokers, and insureds.
Driving
Efficiency: Tracking active claims, monitoring workflows, and ensuring all parties are communicating and hitting their deadlines so no claim falls through the cracks.
