We are looking for an ambitious, curious, and bright professional to join us on the ground floor of an exciting new chapter. As an MGA, our claims volume is currently manageable but growing rapidly as we strategically shift toward writing more ground-up lead accounts (and less Excess of Loss and Facultative business). To support this trajectory, we are building out our in-house claims function from scratch - and we want you to be a foundational part of that journey.
This is not a standard, static "cogs-in-a-machine" insurance role. It is a long-term development opportunity designed for someone who wants to learn the claims and loss adjusting profession from the inside out, build a global network, and ultimately help shape and lead our claims operations.
What You Will Do Initially
- Coordinating Stakeholders: Acting as the primary liaison between Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), capacity providers, brokers, and insureds.
- Driving Efficiency: Tracking active claims, monitoring workflows, and ensuring all parties are communicating and hitting their deadlines so no claim falls through the cracks.
- Data & Reporting: Maintaining accurate claims records and administration within our systems, helping us identify trends as our lead account volume expands.
- Building the Blueprint: Providing frontline feedback and having a seat at the table as we design the processes, tech stack, and philosophy of our future claims function.
How You Will Grow With Us
- Professional Qualifications: Full financial and mentoring support to complete your professional insurance exams (e.g., CII / ACII).
- Hands-On Mentorship & Secondments: Opportunities to undertake embedded secondments with our appointed TPAs to learn practical loss adjusting, reserving, and coverage analysis from seasoned experts.
- Global Exposure: As our lead insurance book grows across the UK, US, LatAm, Australia, and beyond, your reach will become truly international.
- Ownership & Travel: Evolving from administrative coordination to actively holding settlement authority, traveling to meet global partners and insureds, and owning claim outcomes from First Notification of Loss to settlement.
Who We Are Looking For
- Mindset: Ambitious, highly curious, and eager to learn the mechanics of the insurance market from the ground up.
- Problem Solver: Someone who enjoys bringing order to complex processes and isn't afraid to suggest new and better ways of doing things.
- Communicator: Professional, emotionally intelligent, and articulate, able to build rapport with brokers, capacity providers, and external adjusters alike.
- Organised: A sharp eye for detail with strong administrative discipline and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience: A degree, school-leaver qualification, or 6–18 months of initial experience in an insurance, legal, or administrative environment is advantageous, but a proactive attitude is essential.
Why Join Us?
- High Visibility: Work directly with senior leadership without corporate bureaucracy.
- Real Career Progression: A defined pathway from a junior team member to fully-fledged Claims Handler and leader of a global function.
- Global Footprint: Exposure to diverse international insurance markets from day one.
- Supportive Culture: We back our team with study support, external secondments, and the freedom to grow.
