The Company
ASPECT Studios is a purpose-orientated, design-led landscape architecture and urban design practice. Operating across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and the UK, our studios believe in the power of design to positively change people’s lives, the environment, and the planet. Our Dubai studio serves as the hub for our work across the Middle East. We're a collaborative and inclusive team, working closely with ASPECT Studios globally, approaching everything we do with curiosity, challenging conventional approaches and embracing an iterative, process-driven working style. We also enjoy regular offsite events connecting as a team.

The Role
To help us leverage exciting opportunities across the MENA, UK and South-East Asian regions, we are seeking a passionate Bids and Submissions professional to join the Dubai team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the preparation and submission of compelling bids and proposals, securing exciting projects that align with our vision of transformative, regenerative design. We are looking for someone creative and driven, who can:

  • Manage the bid process end-to-end, from identifying opportunity, through to production, design, and submission, as well as post-tender negotiation. You’ll have experience developing and preparing EOIs, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), capability statements, fee proposals and more.
  • Craft persuasive and technically sound proposals that showcase our creative solutions.
  • Develop ‘win’ strategies and value propositions tailored to diverse client requirements and project scopes.
  • Nurture relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners to understand their markets, anticipate their needs (and ASPECT’s), and leverage business opportunities.
  • Quality assures, to deliver submissions that consistently reflect our commitment to quality, design, and innovation.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate to meet deadlines, whilst drawing on our global teams’ skills and expertise.

We welcome applications from candidates based in London who are open to relocation. For the right candidate, a fully remote arrangement from London may be considered, with flexibility to work across time zones and collaborate effectively with our team. Although we’re looking for someone located in Dubai, our team works side-by-side with our London, Perth, Shanghai and Ho Chi Min City design teams in what we call our ‘OneStudio’ model.

About You
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, and capable professional with strong aptitude for project management. You’ll thrive working with fast-paced timelines, coordinating and collating information from diverse collaborators, and applying your knowledge of large-scale design projects to the bids and submissions process. The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of bids and submission experience in landscape architecture, urban design or architecture (construction or engineering also highly regarded).
  • Advanced InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite (a must), as well as strong Excel and project management software skills.
  • Exposure to international markets, ideally across EMEA, UK, and South East Asia.

ASPECT Benefits
Our workplace culture is extremely supportive, creative, and driven, so you can rest assured that your workmates will have your back and will help you to succeed in the role. We embrace diversity, foster professional development, and will provide you with the tools and environment you need to thrive. Some of the benefits you'll enjoy as an ASPECT staff member include:

  • Access to generous company paid Parental Leave benefits.
  • MAPS Days – four paid days a year to grow your skills and knowledge, and/or volunteer.
  • Professional membership supports following probation – reimbursement of fees for industry memberships.
  • Strong learning and mentoring culture, and more.
