Daily Rate: £650/day (Umbrella – Maximum)
Essential experience and knowledge:
- Proven experience in strategic relationship management, partnership management or senior stakeholder engagement roles.
- Construction sector experience or strong working knowledge, including supply chains, delivery environments and commercial drivers.
- Experience of working within, or closely with, the public sector/government environment, with an understanding of governance, assurance and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder settings, balancing competing priorities and interests.

- Strong strategic thinking, able to set direction, identify opportunities and manage issues proactively rather than reactively.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with credibility at senior and executive levels.
- Highly developed organisational and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple workstreams and long-term objectives effectively.
- Confident in working autonomously, exercising sound judgement and owning outcomes without reliance on task by task direction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic relationship management and partnership development with senior stakeholders across the construction sector and public sector/government bodies.
- Build and maintain high-level, influential relationships with executives and delivery partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments, balancing competing priorities and driving collaborative outcomes.
- Provide strategic direction by identifying opportunities, risks, and issues within construction supply chains, delivery, and commercial frameworks.
- Analyse complex or ambiguous information and translate it into clear, actionable insights for senior decision-makers.
- Manage multiple strategic workstreams autonomously, exercising sound judgement and owning delivery of long-term objectives.
- Ensure compliance with public sector governance, assurance, and accountability requirements across all partnership activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving, and long-term partnership success across organisational boundaries.
