- Proven experience leading engineering delivery within complex, highly regulated or safety-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of engineering governance, technical assurance and design management principles.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external engineering suppliers.
- Knowledge of engineering lifecycle management, configuration control and change control processes.
- Experience balancing safety, quality, cost and schedule considerations in engineering decision-making.
- Experience of working on large construction projects in a nuclear / highly regulated environment.
- Candidate should ideally have electrical / C+I background.
- Should have some commercial knowledge to ensure suppliers are being held to account on deliverables.
- Background in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) engineering or management of EC&I-focused delivery programmes.
- Experience working within nuclear, defence, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, power generation or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with safety case development, regulatory interfaces and compliance management.
