Role: Project Engineer
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire (Onsite)
IR35: Inside
Rate: £52.32/hr (Umbrella)
Immediate requirement for an experienced Project Engineer with project management and leadership experience to deliver bespoke research equipment. Design, analysis and development of particle accelerator, target and instrument systems is a key element in supporting the user community carrying out scientific studies at the facility.
Experience Required:
- A degree in Mechanical engineering or a Mechanical engineering apprenticeship + HNC or a project management qualification and experience in delivering complex predominantly Mechanical engineering projects.
- Experience in leading the engineering of complex and bespoke, predominately mechanical, equipment through the complete lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.
- Exposure to project management of bespoke large-scale Mechanical engineering projects (responsible for time / cost / quality).
- A good understanding of the application of Industrial Standards and Regulations, including production of risk assessments and application of risk mitigation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively in multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
- Experience in leading the engineering of complex and bespoke, predominately mechanical, equipment through the complete lifecycle, from concept to commissioning
- Exposure to project management of bespoke large-scale Mechanical engineering projects (responsible for time / cost / quality).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively in multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
