The predicted salary is between 32000 - 40000 € per year.
The purpose of this role is primarily expected to provide electrical technician expertise to the facility working across different teams, and on a wide range of plant from control systems, power conversion systems and through to electrical distribution (LV/HV). This shall include the construction of new equipment, maintenance of existing equipment, fault finding and implementation of repairs. The exact duties will be determined by the individual’s skills and experience.
Support Authorised electrical testers inspecting and testing electrical equipment to ensure compliance with the BS7671: Requirements for Electrical Installations and Codes of Practice. Provide electrical technician expertise to Plant Responsible Officers (PROs); to be hands-on supervisor for electrical installation, maintenance and repair work on plant such as control systems, distribution systems and power conversion systems. Assist with fault finding and repairs to controls systems within cubicles and plant under limited supervision. Able to take ownership of technical delivery of tasks. Capable of undertaking delicate and fragile work e.g., thermocouple connections. Work under supervision to fault find on large power conversion systems. Assist with the build and commissioning of new electrical plant and equipment. Generate and maintain appropriate documentation relevant to the above tasks including writing safe systems of work. Undertaken general work duties as required to support the facilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- C&G2330 Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent qualifications such as an ONC/HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering will be acceptable
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Desirable:
- Inspection and Testing of Electrical Systems.
Experience:
- Apprentice trained with relevant experience working in an industrial environment on 3-phase power systems.
