Security Clearance: DV - Must be able to hold STRAP – Sole British National
Essential:
- Sole UK National
- Must be able to be STRAP inducted and have no foreign connections for them or their families.
- Must have a driving licence
- Project Management Audit experience
- Good all round support experience
- Stakeholder Management/engagement at all levels, internal and external.
Desirable:
- MOD experience would be highly beneficial
- Quality Assurance auditing experience
Role will be conducting general project management work, plus audit work on a current PFI contract to prepare for its expiry. Due to the IT systems used, on site working is needed at least 4 days a week. Travel to northern England with overnight stays will also be needed on approximately monthly basis.
As an Assistant Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
- Supports the planning, delivery, and control of projects that contribute to Defence capability, infrastructure, equipment procurement, digital transformation, and operational objectives.
- Work alongside Project Managers, Programme Managers, commercial teams, engineers, and military stakeholders.
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure progress aligns with agreed objectives.
- Support resource planning and allocation activities.
- Help manage dependencies and monitor project timelines.
