About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Support Team Leader to oversee staff and ensure high‑quality supported housing services for vulnerable adults, including people experiencing homelessness and substance misuse. You’ll lead a team, coordinate support delivery, and help maintain safe, well‑managed accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and develop Support Workers.
  • Manage staffing levels and complete annual appraisals.
  • Support staff development and training plans.
  • Support Delivery
    • Ensure all residents have up‑to‑date, person‑centred support plans.
    • Maintain positive relationships with service users and external agencies.
    • Coordinate referrals, resettlement planning, and access to community resources.
    • Ensure cultural and language needs are met.
  • Housing & Property
    • Work with Maintenance to keep properties safe and well‑maintained.
    • Support residents with licence agreements.
    • Ensure housing policies are followed and community relations remain positive.
  • Administration & Finance
    • Oversee daily admin, occupancy records and service charge payments.
    • Understand contract requirements and monitor benefit entitlements.
    • Maintain accurate service charge logs and communication systems.
  • Service & Policy Development
    • Promote the service locally and maintain referral pathways.
    • Keep up to date with best practice and ensure policies are implemented.
    • Participate in professional forums to support service improvement.
  • General
    • Carry out any duties appropriate to the role and grade.
