About Us Aspect Decorating Services is a growing painting, decorating and property maintenance company working across London and the surrounding areas.
With over 40 years of combined industry experience, we work across a wide range of residential and commercial environments and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, reliability and a professional service to our clients.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trader to join our team on a subcontractor basis.
The Role This is a varied position suited to someone who is confident carrying out a range of property maintenance, repair and finishing works.
While painting and decorating remains a core part of our business, our clients regularly require additional works, and we are looking for someone with a broad skill set who can confidently undertake a variety of tasks.
Duties may include:
General property maintenance and repairs
Carpentry and joinery
Plumbing works
Handyman works
Fitting and replacing fixtures and fittings
Minor building and remedial works
Assisting with painting and decorating where required
General snagging and finishing works
The nature of the work will vary from project to project, so adaptability and a practical approach are essential.
What We're Looking For The successful candidate should:
Have proven experience working as a Multi-Trader or in a similar property maintenance role
Be competent across several trades, particularly carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance
Have their own transport and be willing to travel to jobs across London and surrounding areas
Have their own tools appropriate to their trade
Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
Take pride in producing a high standard of work
Be professional and respectful when working in clients' properties and commercial environments
Be able to work effectively as part of a wider team
Have a good understanding of health and safety
Requirements As this is a subcontractor position, applicants must be able to provide:
Valid Right to Work in the UK
UTR number
Relevant CIS details
References from previous employers, contractors or clients
Evidence of relevant experience
