We are looking for a skilled engineer to help support and develop our cloud adoption. The ideal candidate would have strong development and operational skills. This position involves collaboration with teams across research and development to provide guidance and support in infrastructure usage. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an Infrastructure team to really help drive cloud adoption.
Your responsibilities:
- Your key tasks will be to facilitate the wider adoption of AWS technologies and modern infrastructure patterns within the wider Aspect business.
- Supporting and developing Aspect’s usage of infrastructure-as-code utilities, with a particular focus on enabling teams to manage their own application stacks.
- Enhancing our CI/CD capabilities (CI, testing, deployments).
- Working with the other Aspect teams to enable and support their usage of AWS technologies, with a particular focus on the Research and Development areas.
- Help drive migration away from Aspect’s legacy infrastructure.

Your experience:
- 1-3 years in a similar role (previous finance experience is not necessary)
- Solid knowledge of AWS technologies, particularly container, serverless, automation and security
- Hands on experience designing and building testing & deployment pipelines.
- Good working knowledge of Linux and docker
- Strong scripting abilities
