Aspall Cyder (part of Molson Coors Beverage Company) is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join their team in Stonham Aspal, Suffolk in this full-time, permanent position.

About the role:

The Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of all production and non-production equipment across the Aspall site. Working hours for this role will be 40 per week on a rotating shift pattern of earlies (06:00-14:00) and lates (14:00-22:00).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on PLC and control systems using root cause analysis to minimise downtime
  • Install, commission and maintain plant, equipment, and site services including lighting systems
  • Complete routine maintenance checks on boilers, water filtration systems, refrigeration plant and air compressors
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems in line with audit requirements
  • Work in compliance with EHS legislation, hygiene standards, permits to work, and safety procedures including LOTO and working at height
  • Support housekeeping standards and ensure best practice is followed across all maintenance activities

About you:

As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical), you will be a time-served engineer with a recognised apprenticeship, Level 3 qualification or degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline. You will have proven experience in preventative maintenance and engineering within process control, packaging or utilities environments. You will have an electrical bias with strong PLC knowledge and an 18th Edition qualification. You will be a strong communicator, team player, and confident working across functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
