ASP Web Solutions, LLC is looking for Radiological Imaging Workflow Services Support to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. This person is responsible for day-to-day on-site operations and maintenance of the diagnostic, quality control, and clinical workstations that are included in the PACS. The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, a solid understanding of applicable analytics, and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions. This person is patient, has excellent time-management skills, and practices an effective communication style.
Responsibilities:
- Image and Report Management:
- Coordinate the flow of digital data (RIS/PACS).
- Retrieve and send radiology images.
- Locate and acquire prior electronic exams.
- Ensure timely report delivery to referring facilities.
- Monitor worklists and filters to ensure appropriate and timely reads.
- Facilitate addendums and corrections to reports.
- Assist radiologists with daily workflow needs.
- Monitor and improve the efficiency of the radiology workflow.
- Identify and address workflow bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a program for radiologic technologists accredited by either the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) or a certificate of completion from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved training program for Diagnostic Radiologic Technologies is required.
- Current certification as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Must have experience working in a medium or large radiology department using a PACS.
- A certificate of completion of the FUJIFILM Advanced Synapse Administration training course is required.
