The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
This role will sit in the payroll team and will be responsible for the day to day running of the UK in-house payroll along with supporting on 6 international payrolls. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll as the successful candidate will be required to support team members. This role will support the end to end monthly payroll cycle within the Workday platform, including input, checking and supporting with queries. You will ensure that payroll processes are conducted efficiently whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy and customer service. Please note WorkDay experience is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support the end to end monthly UK payroll within Workday (input, validation, checking)
- Maintain accurate pension, payroll & benefit records and monthly files
- Upload and reconcile pension contributions (UK and International where applicable)
- Ensure accurate Auto Enrolment assessment and timely provider uploads
- Submit and validate benefit files to providers, ensuring data accuracy
- Process monthly and ad-hoc payments to employees and providers
- Produce monthly payroll, benefit and pension reconciliation reports for Finance
- Manage payroll, pension and benefit inbox queries
- Work with Treasury to ensure correct payroll funding and provider payments
- Liaise with PX Admin to ensure timely and accurate data flow into Workday
- Assist with Year End, P11Ds, benefit renewals and annual events
- Support improvements and automation of payroll, pension and benefits processes
- Providing support and upskilling direct members of the payroll team and the wider shared services team

Workday Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee data across payroll actions (hires, exits, comp changes, absences)
- Prepare and submit Workday payroll input, validation reports and EIB’s
- Run Workday payroll control reports and support reconciliation checks
- Support Workday testing cycles through data preparation and scenario execution
- Monitor Workday integration errors and escape where required
- Maintain data consistency between Workday and external payroll systems (e.g., Papaya)
- Working with our internal tech team to resolve issues, supporting with changes, testing and identifying improvements to WorkDay to improve performance

Qualifications About You:
- Hands on experience with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes
- Experience of managing payroll in house end to end
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at varying levels across the business
- International payroll experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Confidence to share payroll knowledge with colleagues
