Job Description

You’ll be supporting our Physical Security Department, in the protection of our ASOSers, our properties and our assets.

You’ll support both office and field-based teams, ensuring we minimise risk and reduce loss across our offices and supply chain.

You will be provided with development in loss reduction and risk mitigation techniques.

This will include risk assessment completion, investigation support, site visits and the use of some of the most advanced security systems available.

You’ll need to have a flexible approach to ensure that the operational needs of the business are maintained and support the departments operational requirements.

You will also be encouraged to grow your own performance and support in your continuous development.

  • The Details
  • Sharing in the responsibility for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the physical security systems and related compliance requirements
  • Assisting with the integration, administration, and development of security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection systems, video intercom systems, turnstiles, and related software applications
  • Support the Security Manager with preventive maintenance to reduce downtime for systems and devices
  • Assisting with the maintenance and improvement of security operational documents and procedures, managing documents within the department’s Share Point environment
  • Working with 3rd party suppliers with travel risk assessments and threat mitigation
  • Utilising Open-Source Intelligence to monitor and react to potential threats to the business
  • Demonstrate the reduction of loss within your business area, through analysis and collaboration, using data visualisation tools
  • Assisting with creating, implementing, and managing procedural and security control documents along with the collation of associated evidence needed for compliance audits
  • Producing ad-hoc reports to evidence live issues and offer solutions
  • Assisting the Internal Audit & Risk team in incident response planning
  • Involvement in investigations, from information gathering, to filing police reports, collecting evidence, and testifying in court
  • Assisting the Security Manager to build and deploy counter-terrorism training to key areas of the business, including working with Counterterrorism and other external agencies
  • Assessing business trips taken to identify anomalies for further investigations to minimise future risk
  • Coordinating with other workgroups, projects, and initiatives which may impact physical security
  • Conducting security assessments of various facilities through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.

Identifying threats and vulnerabilities and working with the Security team to formulate security mitigation options
