Procurement at ASOS is transforming – becoming faster, smarter, and more data‐led. The Procurement Excellence Manager sits at the heart of that shift. You'll own the tools, insights, processes, and digital capabilities that help the team move at pace and deliver real value. From savings governance and analytics, to AI‐driven automation, to fixing workflow pain points, you'll make it easier for our Category Managers and business partners to get great commercial outcomes.

The Details – Procurement Excellence Manager (12 Month Fixed Term – Maternity Cover)

  • Savings, Reporting & Performance
    • Own our Procurement reporting suite - Opex/Capex summaries, monthly benefits packs, project dashboards and exec‐ready insights.
    • Run and maintain the FY Savings Tracker, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Finance.
    • Build Category Strategy spend analysis and project roll‐ups, highlighting trends, variances and opportunities.
    • Produce our monthly spend reports and dashboards so the team always has clean, actionable data.
  • Process, Policy & Systems Enablement
    • Train the team on our procurement tools (Curtis Fitch, Dynamics, DocuSign, PR/PO workflows) and spot opportunities to simplify and streamline.
    • Keep our process documentation, onboarding guides and SharePoint resources clear, current and easy to use.
    • Support continuous improvement across Procurement processes, tooling and operating model.
  • AI, Automation & Digital Procurement
    • Lead the Agentic AI workstream for Procurement – shaping use cases, gathering requirements and prioritising opportunities.
    • Support design, testing and deployment of Procurement Agents (UAT, workflow design, negotiation prompts and more).
    • Be the go‐to person for digital adoption across Procurement and Proc Ops.
  • Procurement Operations & Issue Resolution
    • Act as an escalation point for operational issues - from onboarding delays to AP mismatches to workflow breaks.
    • Partner with AP, Tech and Operations to diagnose and fix recurring process or system blockers.
  • Vendor & Risk Management
    • Lead GNFR supplier due‐diligence checks (Financial Health, Sanctions, Modern Slavery, PEPs) using digital tools and data scraping.
    • Own Procurement's risk controls across onboarding, contracting and approvals.
    • Manage and maintain the contract database and support reporting for Category teams.
  • Team, Leadership & Collaboration
    • Contribute to team meetings, planning sessions, and Procurement strategy work.
    • Build and produce high‐quality materials and reporting for the Director of Procurement & Property.
    • Support onboarding of new colleagues and ensure tool access is in place from day one.

Qualifications and about you

  • Strong understanding of data, data analysis and creating insight; Procurement processes and governance.
  • Experience with procurement platforms (e.g. Curtis Fitch, DocuSign, Dynamics, ContractWorks, PowerApps).
  • Excellent analytical capability and comfort with dashboards, savings validation and financial data.
  • A passion for process improvement.
  • Strong cross‐functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Enthusiasm for digital working, AI enablement and automation.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
