Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Creative PM Manager to lead and oversee complex creative projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a creative environment, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously. This candidate will also be expected to lead by example on all things process related and look to adapt and improve ways of working.
The Details
- Lead complex or high-value projects, and effectively manage a team of supporting Creative Project Managers if the project requires.
- Creating project plans and key documents for medium and longer lead projects, using resource information, and managing projects based on this. Ensure alignment with brief goals and expectations and communicate plans to teams clearly and effectively.
- Ensure effective use of budget (where required) and creative resource.
- Managing the approval process, and escalating if support is required.
- Troubleshooting issues, escalating when required and working with the Senior Creative PM Manager on adapting and improving processes to avoid future issues.
- Using our internal project management tool or Microsoft equivalent to manage and deliver all projects, book resource and communicate project information.
- Striving to constantly improve planning, processes and procedures required to deliver content, and work with the Senior Creative PM Manager to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at the highest level.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports and the wider team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity and growth.
- Act as an escalation point for direct reports and problem solve issues with brief scope, budget or issues.
- Support the Senior Creative PM Manager with team development initiatives to continuously focus on growth.
- Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years+ experience working in-house or at an agency delivering complex digital creative marketing campaigns.
- Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, across multiple functions.
- An enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Although the team requirements and objectives are very clear, this role needs to be flexible and versatile, to adapt to the type of projects and workload that may arise as the business requirements evolve.
- A strong understanding of onsite, digital and creative outputs with excellent time management skills and an ability to drive a project forward to ensure it meets its deadlines.
- Experience managing a range of production dependencies across a wide range of platforms e.g. Mobile, desktop, email, display advertising, social, apps whilst communicating effectively with a wide team with varying skill sets, to deliver content.
- Exceptional at multitasking and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ability to multitask and deliver a range of different assets, at different times, or all at once, is essential.
- Experience managing multiple direct reports, and leading development initiatives within a team.
- Previous experience with project management tools and MS systems is essential.
- Brilliant verbal and written communication.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Dynamic, innovative and lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
