Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Pricing & Analytics to lead the transformation of pricing and commercial analytics for a global online fashion business. This role will build pricing into a strategic growth and profit lever across markets, categories and customer segments. You will own the end-to-end pricing framework across full price, promotions, markdown, clearance, off-price and event-led trading, ensuring decisions are insight-led, commercially robust, well governed and scalable. The role sits close to Trading and partners deeply with Finance, Planning, Product, Tech and Data. You will lead the move from manual, reactive and spreadsheet-led ways of working towards a more automated, AI-enabled and decision-led commercial capability. This is a senior leadership role, not a hands-on pricing execution role. You will set the direction, build the operating model, develop the team and create a high-performance culture focused on pace, ownership, commercial judgement and measurable impact.
The Details
- Define and own the global pricing strategy across full price, promotions, markdown, clearance, off-price and event-led trading.
- Set pricing principles and decision frameworks by market, category, brand, customer segment and product lifecycle stage.
- Build governance, guardrails and decision rights across pricing, promotions, markdowns, exceptions and automated recommendations.
- Lead the transformation from manual reporting and execution to automated insight, recommendation and action.
- Own the AI and automation roadmap for pricing, including alerts, decision support and semi-automated pricing capability.
- Partner with Product, Tech, Data Science and Finance to prioritise scalable pricing tools and AI-enabled workflows.
- Improve promotional and markdown effectiveness, reducing dependency on broad discounting and increasing focus on incrementality, margin and stock outcomes.
- Build competitor, market and customer pricing intelligence to inform where to compete, where to hold price and where to invest.
- Shift analytics from passive reporting to forward-looking commercial insight with clear actions, owners and quantified impact.
- Lead, develop and upgrade the Pricing & Analytics team, building capability in pricing strategy, analytics, automation, stakeholder influence and commercial storytelling.
- Create a high-performance culture built on curiosity, accountability, pace, high standards and continuous improvement.
- Influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed organisation, bringing clear commercial logic to complex trade-offs.
We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.
Qualifications
About You
Significant experience in ecommerce pricing, commercial analytics, revenue management, trading analytics or marketplace pricing. Experience leading transformation across pricing, analytics, trading, commercial operations or digital decision-making. Experience in fashion, retail, ecommerce, consumer marketplace or another fast-moving digital environment. Strong understanding of full price, promotions, markdowns, clearance, event-led trading and stock flow. Proven ability to build pricing strategy, frameworks, guardrails and governance. Strong understanding of margin, elasticity, demand signals, competitor pricing, customer behaviour and inventory risk. Experience improving promotional effectiveness and markdown efficiency. Experience using automation, AI-enabled workflows or advanced analytics to improve commercial decision-making. Proven ability to lead teams through capability change and build a high-performance culture. Strong senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Ability to simplify complex commercial problems into clear decisions. Strong judgement, pace and comfort operating in ambiguity. Significant senior-level experience in pricing, trading, commercial analytics, revenue management, transformation or commercial strategy. Proven experience leading analytical or commercially focused teams. Experience working with Data, Product, Technology or AI/automation teams to deliver scalable commercial capability.
You’ll be a strong fit if you:

- Can balance revenue, margin, conversion, stock, customer perception and brand value.
- Know how to create governance without slowing the business down.
