About the Role
As a Digital Trading Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of the ASOS website(s) and app(s), including navigation, on-site page management and ranking strategy. You will play a key role in defining and executing site merchandising strategies across key touchpoints, leveraging a strong understanding of digital merchandising, homepage and campaign best practices to optimise the end-to-end customer journey. Reporting into the Digital Trading Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Pricing, Trade Marketing and Tech to drive trading performance, enhance the onsite experience, and maximise conversion and sales.
What You’ll be Doing
- Collaborating with Digital Trading Managers to ensure the smooth execution of on-site trading strategies across key events and campaigns
- Ensuring website standards are maintained to maximise business performance and the customer journey, leading Digital Trading Assistants to resolve issues and maintain site quality
- Overseeing and guiding Digital Trading Assistants on homepage, promo and CRM processes, alongside stakeholder management
- Managing and optimising the category and navigation structure across channels/devices
- Planning, testing and executing ranking and merchandising strategies to ensure category and search pages are fully optimised, including during peak trading periods (e.g. Sale)
- Managing onsite search, ensuring optimal configuration across markets and continuously enhancing the search experience
- Partnering with Tech and cross-functional teams to support the development, testing and rollout of new features, digital products and onsite functionality
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to plan and deliver trade events, campaigns and wider strategic initiatives
- Contributing to the delivery of department strategy, supporting team development through coaching, guidance and knowledge sharing
