The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.

Reporting directly into one of the Senior Copywriters, you will be contributing to the day-to-day output of the Copy team. This will primarily include copy output across the 200,000+ products on the product listing and product display pages, brand and category headers and the use of copy templates and AI prompts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering PDP copy for both manual and AI generated workflows in a KPI driven team and department, with the ability to use GPT prompting.
  • Responsible for writing detailed bullet point and longer form product descriptions in a content management system across the full range of ASOS product in the manual workflow, ensuring information is accurate, informative and consistent across the site.
  • Ability to write to a strict house style with an informal but technical tone.
  • Contribute to creative work when required, including writing brand descriptions and category headers.
  • Ensure KPIs and team SLAs are met, working in conjunction with the rest of the Studios teams to ensure all product and campaign launch dates are met.
  • Show strong multitasking ability and organisational skills; able to use initiative and to work in a pressurised environment, consistently prioritising your workload.
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail and catching errors, expectation to self-sub your product descriptions.
  • Possess commercial, brand and technical garment awareness, while keeping up to date with current copy and e-commerce content trends.
  • Ability to follow established processes to deliver agreed creative and quality standards in line with departmental strategy.
  • Proficient in time management, with the ability to proactively ask for assistance when required to ensure team KPIs and SLAs are met.
  • Actively take part in regular 1-2-1's with line manager, driving your own delivery and progression under management guidance.
  • Possess ability to drive and achieve personal and department objectives and OKRs.
  • Show excellent problem-solving abilities and positive, dynamic response to change.
  • Contribute to team admin duties.
  • Support new starters and freelancers on writing product descriptions and other role related requirements when required.
  • Contribute to team and departmental meetings, and cover Midweight duties during absence or when required.
  • Contribute to departmental technology software and hardware launches when required.
  • Deliver projects to support the department strategy and any other ad hoc tasks defined by the Senior Copy & Localisation Manager and the Post Production & Editorial Lead.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of E-commerce copy writing.
  • Understanding of garment and fabric attributes is beneficial.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Strong team player.
