About the Role
You will be part of a team responsible for full assortment price trading, working closely with many internal teams including the AI team, commercial, tech, and other global teams. You will support strategies to optimise pricing investments across our FC Hub zones, report on pricing performance, analyze internal and external competitive price data at the territory level, and support a customer-obsessed approach to drive competitive advantage. You will work closely with the Pricing Manager / Head of Pricing.
What You\’ll Be Doing…
- Support the end-to-end Clearance process alongside the Pricing Manager, from sign-off to implementation, collaborating with Planning, Finance, Retail & Territory teams to target the best stock for each event.
- Focus on proactive trading of Clearance to ensure KPIs are met, managing markdowns, discount events, and understanding seasonal & territory nuances.
- Assist in the weekly global promotions process, working with Planning, Commercial, and Tech teams to select stock and set depth for optimal sell-through.
- Support the AI team in understanding data challenges related to price investment.
- Help establish the Price Scraping process across the Branded Portfolio, suggesting market price trading actions.
- Collaborate with the third-party Scraping Tool team, building effective working relationships.
- Assist in data analysis and presentation to communicate insights and recommendations to the wider Pricing team and stakeholders.
- Begin to understand how price investment through repricing yields ROI.
- Work with Pricing Assistants to manage price change execution, establishing best practices with tech teams.
- Support communication of analysis and initiatives to the wider team and stakeholders.
- Develop knowledge of pricing levers affecting territory and product elasticity, proposing dynamic pricing strategies.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of weekly and monthly reports on price trading initiatives and key metrics.
- Support the development of a Pricing Assistant within the team.
Qualifications

- Experience in Pricing or Merchandising roles, at least at Assistant Merchandiser level.
- Experience proposing and modeling price strategies, promotions, and clearance initiatives, and evaluating their success using KPIs.
- Energetic with a passion for data interpretation and problem-solving.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication skills across all levels.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate/advanced level.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.
