Job Description
We’re on a mission to increase brand heat and establish ASOS as the place to go for new trends. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Talent and Influencer Marketing Lead to be part of rebuilding the ASOS brand and driving fame through incredible talent partnerships. Reporting into the Head of Social, PR and Talent, you will work alongside a VIP and Talent Partnerships Lead and a PR Lead to create an unparalleled experience for influencers and talent.
The ideal candidate is at the forefront of influencer marketing trends and has a creative and innovative approach. They will have experience in consumer-facing campaigns to inspire connections and engagement between brands and their target audiences. Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable about existing and emerging social media platforms and can act as a resource to the team with fresh ideas.
The Role
- Manage a team of influencer/talent reps to identify and build a scaled roster of talent.
- Oversee the planning and execution of influencer/talent marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers/talent and negotiate partnerships.
- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms and influencers.
- Develop innovative strategies to position our brand as a leader in the industry.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach.
- Manage and work with agency partners to create an agile operating model.
- Ensure all partnerships adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Manage budgets, targets, and campaign execution.
- Line management of direct reports including development and training.
- This role requires international travel and attending out of hours events.
Qualifications
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Talent and Influencer Marketing professional with proven agency relationships. They will need to feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing accounts for a large global business.
- Strong media relations and agency relationships within the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing strategies.
- Confident in managing VIP talent and agency relationships.
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- High degree of familiarity with all social platforms.
- An enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
- Able to take considered risks and assess outcomes.
