The Details
As a Senior Product Manager in the Digital Product Catalogue & Localisation domains, you’ll lead the strategy and development of the platforms that power how ASOS products are structured, enriched, and localized for a global audience. Your work will directly impact how customers discover, understand, and engage with our products – no matter where they are or what language they speak.
You’ll be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance product metadata quality and leverage machine translation to scale localized content efficiently. These capabilities are foundational to powering personalized recommendations, search filters, and discovery experiences that feel intuitive and relevant to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the digital product Catalogue and localisation platforms.
- Lead initiatives to enrich product metadata (e.g., attributes, tags, taxonomy) to support downstream experiences like search, filters, and recommendations.
- Partner with data science and engineering teams to integrate enriched catalog data into personalization and discovery algorithms.
- Drive the adoption ofmachine translationandAI-assisted localizationto scale high-quality product content across multiple languages and markets.
- Collaborate with UX, content, and international teams to ensure localized content is contextually accurate and culturally relevant.
- Build tools and workflows that improve the efficiency and accuracy of product onboarding, enrichment, and translation.
- Use data and experimentation to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure impact.
- Align with stakeholders across Tech, Commercial, and Marketing to support global growth and market-specific needs.
Qualifications
About You
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in e-commerce, content platforms, or localisation.
- Strong understanding of product Catalogue systems, metadata modeling, and taxonomy management.
- Experience with machine translation technologies, TMS platforms, or localization automation.
- Familiarity with how enriched product data powers discovery features like search filters and recommendations.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
