This is a senior and highly influential role sitting at the intersection of SEO strategy and product delivery. The Senior Product Manager - SEO will be the primary bridge between the SEO team and the wider Technology and Product organisation at ASOS, ensuring that SEO requirements are embedded into product development, roadmap prioritisation and engineering delivery.
The Details:
- Define and own the organic strategy and roadmap, building a deep understanding of organic growth opportunities and how success will be measured across traffic, revenue and platform performance.
- Own the documentation and reporting of SEO product development, tracking initiative progress, reviewing OKRs and clearly communicating outcomes and impact to ensure priorities remain aligned to wider business goals.
- Manage the SEO Product Development Team (PDT), overseeing sprint planning and backlog prioritisation to keep initiatives on track.
- Act as the primary bridge between SEO and Technology / Product, translating complex technical requirements into clear specifications that engineering teams can execute at pace.
- Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Analytics and Commercial teams to embed SEO best practices into platform development and ensure SEO is considered by default.
- Keep the customer at the heart of every decision, ensuring optimisations improve the experience for users alongside search engines.
- Surface competitor and industry trends, including developments in generative AI search, and share insights proactively with the SEO team and wider business.
- Use data, experimentation and customer research to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses and measure impact, running structured tests and building dashboards to shape next steps.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product or SEO Manager in a large‐scale, consumer‐facing digital environment, ideally e‐commerce or retail.
- Strong working knowledge of technical SEO at enterprise scale, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data and page performance.
- Demonstrable track record of owning and delivering a roadmap end‐to‐end, from opportunity identification through to impact measurement.
- Comfortable working in agile, cross‐functional teams alongside Engineering and Product, writing clear product specs and user stories.
- Data‐driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using tools like Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics and BI platforms.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex SEO topics into clear commercial narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and their application to product design.
