Job Description

As Senior Assistant Buyer within the Dress Up Womenswear Fashion Brands team, you'll play a key role in driving some of the most exciting and recognisable brands on ASOS.

Working closely with the Senior Buyer and Merchandising team, you'll help curate trend‑led ranges, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure we're offering the most relevant and inspiring product for our fashion‑obsessed customer.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a portfolio of leading womenswear brands, building strong partnerships, attending brand appointments and contributing to the commercial success of the department.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and emerging brands.
  • Analyse trading performance and use data‑driven insights to support decision making and deliver departmental KPIs.
  • Help manage and develop strong relationships with brand partners, supporting joint business plans and performance reviews.
  • Work closely with Merchandising to manage stock, trade effectively and maximise sales and profitability.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to departmental strategy, identifying risks and opportunities through analysis and customer insight.
  • Support the management of the critical path, ensuring key launch dates and milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and ASOS Media Group teams to support key product launches, campaigns and brand activations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Digital Trading, Supply Chain, Operations and Events teams.
  • Support the coaching and development of Buying Assistants within the team.
  • Champion a customer‑first mindset, ensuring the ASOS customer remains at the centre of all decisions.
  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That's why our approach to working together includes spending at least

3 days a week in the office.

It's a rhythm that speeds up decision‑making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create and succeed.

Qualifications

  • Previous buying experience at Senior Assistant Buyer or Assistant Buyer level within a fast‑paced fashion retailer.
  • Strong understanding of the womenswear branded fashion market, including trend‑led and occasionwear brands relevant to the ASOS customer.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to interpret data and translate insight into action.
  • Confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
