As one of the Model Bookers you will be at the forefront of the Model Team working closely with the Seniors, Team Leaders, Leads and Management at ASOS Studios. You will constantly search for the next generation of ASOS faces, react to new briefs and both build and nurture agency relationships. Your task is to supply a continuous stream of exciting talent so that ASOS stays one step ahead of the competition and delivers the best e‑commerce assets for our 20‑something customers.

Reporting directly into the Senior Model Booker, contributing to the day‑to‑day running of the Model team at ASOS Studios. Working alongside other bookers to source options and bookings for all talent required for ASOS in‑house shoots, approximately 30 models per day (including rec & unrec e‑comm, marketing location shoots, internal testing, social bookings and other creative projects).

Owning the weekly ASOS shoot schedule and using creative problem‑solving skills to ensure that all model options have been maximised across 100+ shoots. Taking ownership of booked models, working with the studio team to maximise each model’s potential and ensure consistency over time. Being confident in dealing with any model issues professionally and in line with ASOS behaviours policy. Understanding the model team budget and rate structure, facilitating negotiations with agencies so ASOS receives the best rates on models. Using model sales analysis to make informed casting decisions. Developing a creative ability to understand ASOS’s model families and their aesthetic for guys and girls, ensuring all imagery is in line with expected standards.

Contributing to the evolving ASOS talent brief, keeping up to date with the diverse ASOS customer and ensuring they feel represented across all category pages. Maintaining strong agency relationships and ensuring talent is readily available across multiple platforms at the best rates. Nurturing existing relationships with international agencies and establishing new ones, maintaining ASOS’s first‑class reputation. Supporting training and development of new full‑timers. Developing your leadership style and communication alongside your Seniors, in line with ASOS Behaviours policy. Understanding the department strategy, working closely with Seniors, Leads and Management to deliver goals and build strong, professional relationships with the wider studio team. Demonstrating excellent brand awareness by reviewing areas, researching ideas and assessing competition to ensure we remain market leaders. Encouraging the team to be authentic, brave and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by example. Delivering projects to support the department strategy and any other ad‑hoc tasks defined by the Model Team Lead and Manager. Contributing to weekly team meetings with industry knowledge and opinions and occasionally to departmental meetings. Being recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department.

Qualifications

  • Previous model booking experience with existing agency relationships.
  • A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment.
  • A passion for models and knowledge of the fashion industry.
  • A methodical, accurate and extremely organised approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and strong interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet.
  • Assertive and forward‑thinking.
  • A 'can‑do' attitude and high level of efficiency.
  • An 'unflappable' nature who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and confidence in handling contracts, usages and block bookings.

  • Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, In Design and in general PC/MAC usage.
