Job Description

Join ASOS as a Merchandising Assistant and kick start your career in fashion retail.

This entry‑level role supports the Merchandising team by ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, helping deliver the best experience for customers.

This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced.

You will work with large volumes of data, learn multiple systems, and develop a sharp eye for detail.

It’s admin heavy, but every task contributes to driving sales and shaping our product offering.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate product and stock data across systems (data entry, updating spreadsheets).
  • Raise and track purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for delivery updates.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag issues such as delays or shortages.
  • Prepare reports and presentations (sales summaries, stock updates) for team meetings.
  • Support promotional and markdown activities by updating systems and checking accuracy.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and meeting preparation.
  • Collaborate with Buyers and Merchandisers to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Support the company culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have some previous admin experience or exposure to office tasks, plus an understanding of retail operations or fashion trends – whether through work experience, internships, or education.
