Creative Studios – Creative Team
Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager for Central and Visual Identity, the Junior Creative role sits within ASOS Creative Studios.To succeed as a Junior Creative, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be tasked with delivering smart, agile, creative ideas that play a meaningful role in culture and speak to 20-somethings globally as to retain/ build on ASOS’ relevancy and recognition in our consumer/audience’s world.

Your key focus will be to deliver smart, agile and innovative 360 creative campaign concepts that connect with our 20-something global audience.
We are looking for strategic thinkers, creators, makers and those who can help us create content that can connect with millions around the world. People who live and breathe social and understand how to push the platforms and innovate at speed. People with the skills and mindset to unlock the potential creativity for ASOS.
The Creative Teams are responsible for development and execution of all consumer-facing visual brand communication for ASOS and our partner brands – delivering strong and engaging content through all channels relevant to 20-somethings – creating brand awareness [and over time salience], helping to hero our product and celebrating our global community.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with other members of the Creative Studios department, working closely with Brand Marketing, ASOS Media Group, Fashion, Design and Talent teams to ensure a unified approach to the experiences and initiatives of an ambitious and rapidly evolving brand/s. Due to the nature of the collaboration this role will require being onsite 3 days per week.
What you’ll be doing…
Strategy:
You’ll join a team of talented and skilled Creatives developing compelling and innovative creative concepts that are relevant for the consumer, client and brand strategy.
A team player, equally comfortable working alone or when supporting a Senior Creative to deliver successful campaigns for ASOS and our partner brands.
Support wider Creative Team in crafting concepts, photography, social assets and stories around ASOS products, brands and partner brands.
Collaborate, develop and maintain excellent relationships with project teams across Creative Studios, ASOS Media Group, Social, Talent and PR, Marketing and Commercial.
A clear communicator who feels confident sharing ideas to the Creative Team and internal stakeholders.
Ensure creative excellence throughout all work, while working towards ASOS behaviours for every project.
Understanding and follow the creative brand strategy as directed by Head of Creative/Creative Director.
Staying close to changing trends in our customer’s interests to help update the brand look and feel when relevant… grounded in fashion and fashionability.
Bring a working knowledge of relevant talent, photographers, illustrators and creatives to the team.
Provide inspiration by bringing new ideas and concepts to the Creative Studios Teams.
A real interest and hunger to learn, collaborate and create.
Qualifications
Who We’d Like to Meet
- Experience working for a similar mobile and social first brand or youth culture-shaped agency, OR show aptitude via the alternative experience you’re bringing to the table.
- Some knowledge and skills in one or more of the following: copywriting, art direction, design.
- Uses and knows in-app content creation for social platforms.
- Plugged into 20 something culture and fashion – you’ll be able to understand the needs of ASOS target customer.
- An eye for detail with a demonstratable passion, curiosity and experience in generating ideas, telling stories and making creative concepts.
- Collaborative and receptive to feedback.
- Good interpersonal skills, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.
- Positivity in spades – we need a true team player.
- Some knowledge of the production landscape.
- Ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic working knowledge in one or many Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- Portfolio of paid or personal work that demonstrates an understanding and enthusiasm for youth culture, fashion and social content creation.
