Job Description
The Shared Services HR (PX) Manager will be responsible for the management and development of the administration and advisor teams within the shared service hub. This role ensures the day‑to‑day running of the hub team operates to the highest level of customer service and that all processes are conducted effectively and compliantly across the UK and globally.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the PX shared services admin and advisor teams, ensuring effective delivery of all employee lifecycle actions.
- Oversee our HRIS System (Workday) to ensure system functionality is utilised and harmonised with existing PX processes.
- Manage employee life‑cycle service routines effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with wider Shared Service Teams (Payroll and ER Team).
- Act as an escalation point for any transactional processes within PX and the business.
- Ensure core policies and templates are up‑to‑date and compliant with global, UK, and local employment law.
- Own and maintain all PX policies, updating them with changing legislation across all territories.
- Monitor employment legislation developments, assess impact, and develop processes, policies and communications to maintain compliance.
- Coach and develop your team to maintain high standards of delivery and customer service.
- Maintain PX data quality and ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Lead project work relevant to the scope of the role and PX team.
- Act as an ambassador for the People Experience Team and play an active role in PX and business communities, establishing a credible voice and reputation for action, results, and living the ASOS values.
- Make a positive and impactful contribution to ASOS culture and future success as we scale globally.

Qualifications
- Experience managing a large team across different levels of experience, with proven coaching and development skills.
- Proven track record of building trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading a shared services environment.
- Experience working within a Workday environment and making system/process improvements.
- Strategic thinking across multiple PX disciplines, including employee relations, organisation development, reward, mobility, and talent.
- Deep understanding of global employment law and the ability to apply it pragmatically; experience as escalation point for complex ER cases.
- Commercial decision‑making skills aligned with business needs.
- Experience making an impact on the people agenda in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset for the wider PX team.
- Ability to engage in challenging conversations with senior stakeholders, applying strong influence and negotiation skills.
- Highly numerate with commercial acumen, balancing priorities and cutting through complexity.
- Thrives in ambiguous, fluid situations and considers the bigger picture as well as detail.
- Proficiency in data interpretation and building compelling cases for change and investment.
- Experience in continuous improvement of day‑to‑day processes within a PX function.
