The Director of AI Productivity will lead the transformation of how ASOSers work – through the deployment of AI, automation, and modern digital tools. This role will be responsible for reimagining and delivering the platforms, workflows, and experiences that enable our people to do their best work, faster and smarter. The scope spans across all business areas of ASOS, with a mandate to drive measurable productivity gains across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the enterprise-wide strategy for employee productivity, with a focus on GenAI, agentic workflows, and automation.
- Lead the development of general-purpose applications that enhance the day-to-day experience of ASOSers across functions.
- Build and scale intelligent systems that learn from business outcomes and propose optimised actions.
- Establish success metrics and governance to track adoption, impact, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a thought leader and change agent—championing new ways of working and embedding a culture of experimentation and agility.
Qualifications
About You
We’re looking for a visionary and pragmatic leader who can bridge strategy, technology, and organisational change. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of GenAI, agentic systems, and automation technologies (e.g. RPA, AI/ML).
- Strong track record in modernising business processes.
- Experience designing and delivering user-centric applications that improve employee experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise systems (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow).
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.
- Strong change management capabilities and understanding of organisational behaviour.
- Commercial acumen and ability to align tech strategy with business outcomes.
- A growth mindset and passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Ability to engage with vendors, evaluate solutions, and drive value from partnerships.
