Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join ASOS Brands in a specialist role that sits at the intersection of product innovation, digital development, and fit excellence.
As a Digital Clothing Technologist within ASOS Brands, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our product fits, feels, and performs for our customers. Working closely with Product Technical, Design, Fabric and Buying teams, you’ll lead the development and implementation of our 3D fitting strategy, ensuring ASOS remains at the forefront of virtual fit innovation and block development. You’ll support the Head of Technical in driving key KPIs such as block implementation and right‑first‑time sealing hit rate, while owning the ASOS block library and grading rules.
Your work will directly impact product consistency, customer satisfaction, and return reduction across the ASOS brand portfolio.
- Lead the implementation of ASOS’s 3D fitting strategy, driving innovation in virtual fit and block development
- Own the creation and maintenance of the ASOS block library, ensuring consistency and accuracy across departments
- Review, refine and deliver grading rule improvements, maintaining supporting documentation and supplier training
- Use lessons learnt and benchmarking insights to ensure ASOS sizing data is relevant and consistent across categories
- Collaborate with Buying, Technical and Supplier teams to improve fit and reduce customer returns through data analysis and product reviews
- Support the Head of Technical in achieving departmental KPIs including sealing hit rate and block adoption
- Stay up to date with industry innovations, networking internally and externally to identify new opportunities

Qualifications
- Experience in a high street retailer, supplier, or specialised pattern/grading agency
- Experience supporting both womenswear and menswear, with unisex experience as a bonus
- Strong working knowledge of Optitex and Gerber (essential); Clo3D and Daz 3D (desirable)
- A background in pattern cutting and grading, with hands‑on experience in sizing and grade rule development
- The ability to guide others and capture the essence of a designer’s vision while balancing commercial awareness and a customer‑first mindset
- Passion for fit, quality, and innovation in fashion
