As a Senior Project Manager, you’lllead high-impact, cross-functionallogisticsandsupply chain projects frominitialscoping through to successful delivery and handover.

You’llset the direction, buildrobust delivery plans, controlbudgets, resources, risksand dependencies, andensure every project delivers againstoperational priorities, strategicobjectivesandmeasurablereturn on investment.

Working closely with operations, IT, finance, procurement, vendorsand contractors, you’lldrive clear governance, proactivecommunicationand effective decision-making across complex programmes of work.

This role will also play an important part in coaching Project Managers, strengthening project controls and embedding continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

  • Lead strategic, cross-functionallogistics, supplychainand operational change projects from concept throughtodelivery and handover.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, successmeasuresand governance requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, milestone schedules, resourceplansand delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasts, risks, issues, dependenciesand mitigationstrategies.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timelydecisionsand strong engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee vendor, supplierand contractor performance, including delivery quality, commercial control, health and safety, and compliance.
  • Track project milestones, KPIs, benefits, risksand overall performancewith associated governance.
  • Present clear, concise updates, recommendations and escalations to senior leadership and project steering groups.
  • Support change management, stakeholder readiness, operationaltransitionand post-project benefit realisation.
  • Mentor and guide Project Managers and project team members, sharing best practice and raising delivery capability across the team.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, procurementand finance teams to ensure projects are commercially robust, operationallyviableand strategically aligned.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes, tools, templatesand ways of working.

Qualifications

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Prior experience of project management
  • APM, PRINCE2or similarcertification preferred
  • Strong financial and risk management skills
  • Proficiencyin project management tools (e. g. MS Project)
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management
  • Experience inlogistics, ecommerce, or supply chain
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
