Our client, a leading provider of cloud solutions and services, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Account Executive to drive new business growth in the UK. With a focus on Cloud, this role requires someone adept at generating new logos and cultivating lasting client relationships. This role will be focussed on the Financial Services vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract new business for cloud solutions and services, with a focus on AWS/Azure offerings
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, nurturing leads through the full sales cycle
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets through proactive prospecting, presentations, and deal closure
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, particularly within AWS, to provide clients with the latest insights and solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cloud sales
  • Must have worked in companies that have sold cloud services and be competent in solution based selling
  • Strong track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and travel to the Manchester office twice per month
  • Preferably some experience selling into Public Sector
