As the range of projects that we work on grow, so does our team! We are currently looking to hire a Business Analyst at our coastal office in Weymouth. The role involves leading the analysis of complex business processes and systems, translating business needs into clear requirements, and supporting the successful delivery of strategic change initiatives across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering for complex, cross‑functional projects and programmes.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Process improvement & change analysis by identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and automation.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Support solution design, testing, UAT, and implementation activities.
- Identify and manage risks, assumptions, and dependencies related to requirements and scope.
- Use data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst role.
- Proven experience delivering complex change in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence at senior management level.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Strong documentation writing and process modelling skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or complex operational environments.
- Formal BA project management or ITIL qualifications (desirable).
