This role involves overseeing and generating forecast data for sales channels, and publishing channel splits for pre-arranged products. The role will provide data for sales forecast submissions and ensure the monitoring of sales demand versus forecast. You will work cross-functionally to establish and uphold formal processes of decision making, linking demand and supply within the 0 β 3 month horizon, which mitigates risks and maximises opportunities for the business.
Key Accountabilities
- On time appropriate publication of insights from both the Sales in to (Sales Orders) Customers and EPOS (Consumer Demand) Forecast data and sales channel splits for pre-agreed products.
- Monthly insights with actual sales to forecast variances across customers and products within the 0 β 3 month window.
- Data generation to support weekly business sales forecast.
- Data generation for off fixtures within the 0 - 3 month window.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring actual demand versus month 0 - 3 sales forecast.
- Monitoring forecast consumption and insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Data generation of the forecast data for the sales channels, and publishing of channel splits for pre-arranged products while coordinating with operations.
- Manage monthly unconsumed forecast roll.
- Manage short term forecast changes within demand control period across both the Sales in to (Sales Orders) Customers and EPOS (Consumer Demand).
- Work with sales teams to identify sales opportunities and interact with National Sales about additional listings to leverage sales.
- Responsible for completing forecast accuracy root cause analysis and feeding this information to relevant stakeholders (0 - 3 months).
- Facilitate information sharing between Purchasing and sales teams, including sell through of allocated products and opportunities for pre-agreed products.
- Responsible for reporting expected month end and quarter end figures based on analysis of actual demand, supply, and insights from the sales team.
