Job Summary
Shift Pattern: Late Shift – Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm, Fridays 11am to 7pm. Please note, we are recruiting for x7 fixed term contractors (that will last approximately 8 months, until December 2026). This role involves working in a busy, fast‑paced warehouse with a diverse and hardworking team to ensure that all goods are received, processed and dispatched efficiently. The main responsibilities of the role include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders.
What does this role Involve
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (this includes loading, packing, wrapping products, labelling and shipping)
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products, using scanners and manual handling aids
- Repackaging stock to specific customer requirements
- Performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimising space utilisation
- Reporting any discrepancies
- Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and colleagues
- Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment
- Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules and H&S regulations
What are we looking for
- Proven work experience within a warehouse environment
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Self‑motivated, disciplined and reliable
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to complete tasks to a high standard
- The ability to adapt to working in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Good level of physical fitness (this role requires heavy lifting and manual handling)
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Numerate and literate, with excellent communication skills in English
