Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thinks commercially and wants to make a real impact on how products perform at shelf and online.
Sitting at the intersection of brand, sales and retail, you'll help translate brand strategy into effective customer and category plans that drive growth across key retail partners and channels.
You'll play a key role in our Category Vision project, helping shape the long‑term growth strategy for the category over the next 3–5 years, a genuine opportunity to influence the direction of the business.
This is a collaborative, hands‑on role where you'll work closely with sales, marketing and retail partners.

- Commercial Performance & Growth
- Support the delivery of commercial performance across key brands, retail customers and channels, using data and insight to improve sales, visibility and return on investment.
- Help identify performance gaps across customers, categories and campaigns, and contribute to actions that unlock growth opportunities.
- Monitor the impact of trade activity, promotional performance and customer execution, helping ensure plans deliver against agreed objectives and KPIs.
- Customer & Category Planning
- Help translate brand strategy into clear customer, channel and category plans that reflect retailer needs, shopper behaviour and commercial priorities.
- Support trade planning for priority launches, seasonal activity and key commercial moments.
- Work alongside sales and account teams on range reviews, promotional planning and customer sell‑in, providing trade rationale and data‑backed recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve assortment, distribution and execution across retail channels, helping prioritise investment behind the biggest opportunities.
- Contribute to the Category Vision project, supporting research and analysis into long‑term category growth opportunities over a 3–5 year horizon.
- Sales Partnership & Retailer Engagement
- Partner with the sales team to help shape customer conversations with clear category arguments, trade recommendations and commercially grounded activation plans.
- Support the business at relevant trade events and customer‑facing opportunities where appropriate.
- Help represent the voice of the customer and category internally, ensuring marketing and commercial planning is relevant, actionable and customer‑focused.
- Insight, Reporting & Decision-Making
- Analyse sales, category and campaign data to inform decision‑making, identify trends and improve future activity.
- Support the reporting rhythm for trade initiatives, turning performance data into clear recommendations on what to scale, stop or change.
- Provide clear post‑campaign and ongoing performance reporting for internal stakeholders and external partners where required.
- What are we looking for
Essential
- 3‑5 years’ experience in trade marketing, sales, account management, category management, or brand/channel marketing.
- Comfortable working with data – able to analyse sales and category performance to inform recommendations.
- Strong understanding of (or genuine curiosity about) retailer dynamics, shopper behaviour and how products perform in retail environments.
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience working with retail or distribution partners in a commercial or marketing capacity.
- Familiarity with category management principles and tools.
- Experience creating promotional plans, launch support materials or range review presentations.
- Experience in the gaming, entertainment, toys or FMCG sectors.
