The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis across the business. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and support strategic objectives. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge performance
  • Analyse key financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals
  • Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
  • Support cost control initiatives and margin improvement activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting efficiency
  • Assist with year-end processes and audits where required

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Experience in a finance or analytical role, ideally within a commercial or operational environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP tools)
  • Studying towards or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
