The Role
We are looking for a Litigation Assistant to join our busy London Personal Injury Team. This is a critical support role that will involve working closely with fee earners to assist with the procedural and administrative aspects of casework. You will gain hands on experience in a litigation focused environment and be involved in supporting up to three fee earners on a variety of personal injury cases. This is a great opportunity to grow and develop in a legal environment with exposure to all aspects of case management and court work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients, experts, and third parties playing a key role in building each case
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court forms
- Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date
- Conduct basic legal research and help with the collation of evidence
- Monitor key deadlines and ensure timely task completion
- Support fee earners with diary management and hearing preparations
- Input and maintain accurate information on case management systems
- Provide administrative and procedural support to fee earners handling personal injury cases
