We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel marketing, vendor relations, and event management within the IT/technology sector and who can be a dynamic leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, while effectively managing relationships with multiple stakeholders across different cultures and geographies. This role will require regular travel for events, vendor meetings and office visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Create and manage annual marketing budgets, including vendor funding allocation and ROI tracking.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and market penetration.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing initiatives.

Vendor Relations & Channel Marketing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and partners.
  • Secure and manage vendor Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to support marketing initiatives.
  • Develop joint marketing plans with vendors to maximise market impact and drive mutual growth.
  • Ensure compliance with vendor branding guidelines and co-marketing requirements.
  • Plan and execute high-impact customer events, including technical workshops, product launches, and industry conferences.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, from venue selection to post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to ensure effective lead capture and follow-up processes.
  • Develop compelling content and presentations for customer-facing events.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and business development teams to align marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with international offices to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign execution.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and marketing service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 2 years in technology/IT sector.
  • Proven track record in vendor marketing fund management and utilisation.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Strong experience in planning and executing large-scale B2B events.
  • Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM – Customer Insights.
  • International business experience and etiquette.
  • Knowledge of current IT industry trends and technologies.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capability.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Financial acumen and budget management expertise.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and strong organisational and multitasking capabilities.
