We're lookingfor 2x Finance Officers to join our Finance team and help deliver ahigh-quality, customer-focused finance service across the organisation.
This is anexcellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, analysingfinancial information and building positive relationships.
You'll support arange of financial activities, helping to ensure accurate reporting, effectivebudget management and continuous improvement across the service.
What you'llbe doing
As a Finance Officer, you will
- Produce accurate financialinformation, reports and reconciliations.
- Support budget monitoring andinvestigate financial variances.
- Maintain financial systems andensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with month-end and year-endprocesses, VAT returns, grant claims and cashflow monitoring.
- Raise purchase orders and supportthe timely processing of financial transactions.
- Build effective relationships withcolleagues and stakeholders, providing clear financial advice and support.
- Contribute to service improvementprojects and provide cover across the Finance team when required.

- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience in Accounts Payable.
- Experience working in a publicsector finance environment.
Qualifications
- Educated to NVQ Level 3, A-Level orequivalent and part AAT qualified.
