THE VENUE:
View Boston, which encompasses the top three floors of the Prudential Tower, will feature immersive experiential exhibits and a bistro on the 50th floor, an indoor/outdoor cocktail lounge with a 360-degree outdoor viewing deck on the 51st floor, and a double high (24-foot) indoor viewing space on the 52nd floor. The destination, designed with the adventurer in mind, was created to be an attraction that welcomes locals, and domestic and international visitors, being the ideal stop as they begin their Boston experience. THE ROLE
The Observatory Ambassador serves as the front-line representative of View Boston, delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring an engaging, informative, and welcoming experience. This role supports all aspects of the guest journey, from arrival to departure.
Essential Dutes And Responsibilities
- Greet & welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide directional support and share highlights of the Boston skyline and landmarks.
- Facilitate guest flow through ticketing & elevator areas, entry, exhibit areas, and rooftop access.
- Engage with guests to answer questions, offer local insights, and enhance the overall experience.
- Monitor assigned areas to maintain cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to retain learned knowledge and offer help to our guests by providing operational (Observatory lay-out, experience locations) answers to all inquiries.
- Ability to perform and present information in a concise, legible manner to our guests – must be able to speak loudly and clearly and have a commanding presence.
- Support crowd control and line management during peak hours and special events.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a polished, knowledgeable, and service-oriented presence throughout the venue.
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
- Perform other duties as necessary or required by management.

Education And/Or Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-4 years’ experience in customer service, hospitality, travel, tourism, or attractions preferred.
Skills And Abilities
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable engaging with individuals and groups in a fast-paced setting.
- High level of demonstrated professionalism and customer service.
- Passion for Boston’s culture, history, and landmarks.
- Ability to memorize historical and technical information.
- Multi-lingual or sign language capabilities a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a creative, and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
